Yuru Yuru Chapter 45

The story of Japanese high school girls is nearing its conclusion:

Wait, wrong era. This is back when Japan was a real country.

Here you go, the continuation of the story set in the magical country most often depicted in anime:

Yuru Yuru Chapter 44

I was going to release some Collapse, but the Yuru Yuru archive was easier to find in the mess that is my desktop. So here you go. In this installment, our favorite JK go to to a training camp. Well... we keep translating this Japanese word (gasshuku) as "training camp", but if you think about it, it only makes sense in the case of sports clubs.

Ah, what the hell, let's do two chapters this week. High school girls and puns.

Yuru Yuru Chapter 41

One of those rare instances when I get the allusion in the title. Let me tell you, translating chapter and manga titles is pretty difficult. If you think it's easy, you're doing something wrong. :)

Also, while I have your attention, does anyone have chapters 1-3 done by a different group? Can you give me dl links for them? I want to start packaging this manga into volume archives.

Meanwhile, enjoy the chapter:

Yuru Yuru: Episode XL - Attack of the Clones

Now that we're back to JKs, let's close off with another sailor fuku video (Sailor Fuku and Machine Gun):

One of the classic idol movies. I think it was supposed to be a comedy, but somehow I didn't laugh. Also, I have to point out that it's not a machine gun (kikanjuu) she has in the movie, but a submachine gun (tankikanjuu).

And on the topic of "where are they now", here's the same Yakushimaru Hiroko singing in a somewhat recent NHK morning drama called "Ama-chan" (I highly recommend it, by the way).

But I guess you want Yuru Yuru:

Yuru Yuru Chapter 39

More silly JK antics.

But doesn't this seem like such a uniquely Japanese problem?
